Gen-Hyal® formulations are, in fact, dermatologically tested for sensitive skin (Sensitive Skin PATCH TEST) at independent laboratories that conducted the tests on healthy volunteers with sensitive skin.
What the PATCH TEST is?
A patch test is a diagnosti method used to determine which specific substances cause allergic inflammation of a patient’s skin.
The test evaluations are aimed at producing a study on the skin tolerability of each individual product in the Gen-Hyal line with results attesting to the percentage of tolerability found on subjects with sensitive skin who underwent the test and thus the degree of safety in use on delicate and intolerant skin.
The test result states the following:
“The product under test, applied in the same way under occlusive conditions to the healthy skin of 20 volunteers, obtained an average irritation index of:
- 0.00 30 minutes after patch removal (24 hours after product application)
- 0.00 24 hours after patch removal (48 hours after product application)”.
The product can therefore be classified as NON-IRRITANT.
The test was applied to volunteers with sensitive skin, aged between 31 and 60 years. Both male and female.
Gen-Hyal products are therefore recommended for all subjects with low skin tolerability and prone to irritation and adverse dermatological reactions.
They are used by aesthetic physicians and dermatologists in total safety to support even the most invasive aesthetic treatments, providing an effective adjunct to therapies both for clinical practice and for continuing therapy at home.
