Why do we indicate SPF 30+?
The SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is defined as the dose of radiation (duration x radiant power x area) required to protect against sunburn. According to this calculation, an SPF 50 would allow no more than 1/50 of solar radiation (or 2%) to pass through, blocking 98%. An SPF 30 would allow no more than 1/30 (or 3.3%) to pass through, blocking just under 97%.
Our BODY SUNSCREEN has shown SPF evaluation tests to provide protection of 30+, meaning it would be able to protect according to an SPF of 44 pre-irradiation and an SPF of 38 post-irradiation, thus blocking just under 98% of the sun’s rays.

Our UVA and UVB filters:
Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (DHHB): is a photostable filter that protects the skin from UVA rays.
Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (EHMC): is a UVB filter that helps to solubilize other filters in the formulation to avoid re-crystallization and consequently an inadequate protection.
Ethylhexyl Triazone (EHT): highly photostable UVB filter.
Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (BEMT): broad spectrum organic filter that also stabilizes the other filters present in the formulation for long-lasting protection.
The synergy of these sunscreens allows to create a complete formulation, which offers prolonged protection from UVA and UVB rays in a pleasant product for a daily use, even in winter.
